The Journal of Innovation Impact is an international peer-reviewed journal that publishes fundamental and applied research on the impact of innovation, knowledge exchange and entrepreneurship, from around the world.

The Journal provides a means of disseminating ideas, best practice, results and developments in relation to the field. It publishes scholarly and practitioner oriented papers, case studies, review and survey papers. Authors are encouraged to submit papers based on research, developmental activities and state of the art best practice.

The Journal is published online and is completely open access, providing excellent visibility. No fees are payable to read and download the papers, and no password is necessary to do this.

SCOPE & TOPICS

The Journal accepts papers on a wide range of innovation and knowledge orientated topics. Applicable themes include, but are not limited to:

 Innovation, open innovation and co-creation

 The relationship between knowledge transfer and innovation

 Processes of knowledge transfer, knowledge origination, knowledge exchange and knowledge sharing

 Human and organisational aspects of knowledge management

 Incubators and hatcheries

 Entrepreneurship activities and schemes

 Commercialisation (licensing of intellectual property, spin-outs formation, and incubators)

 Collaborative applied research and consultancy

 Knowledge Transfer Partnerships and similar government initiatives

CALL FOR JOURNAL ARTICLES

High quality, previously unpublished articles are sought on topics relevant to the Journal.

Full papers of approximately 5000-8000 words (10-15 pages), written in conventional academic style will be blind reviewed by at least two referees who are knowledgeable in the field, with a third referee being appointed if necessary.

Short papers of approximately 2000-5000 words (4-10 pages) will be subjected to a less rigorous review process appropriate to the subject matter and content. These papers may be case studies, white papers, position papers, and similar texts.

All articles to be considered for the Journal must be submitted via the online submission facility as PDF documents. Articles must be prepared following the format to be found on the Journal website. Submissions in formats other than that specified may be rejected without being reviewed. Please see the Journal website for further information on submitting papers.

INTERNATIONAL REVIEW BOARD

We welcome applications from suitably qualified researchers, practitioners and managers to join the International Review Board. Members of the Board undertake to promote the Journal, advise on its progress, and undertake the review of submitted papers. Please contact us if you would like to be considered.
