IKT HAS FOUR MEMBERSHIP GRADES:

FELLOW, MEMBER, ASSOCIATE AND AFFILIATE. THESE CAN BE APPLIED

JOINING THE IKT

There are now four membership grades - Fellow, Member, Associate and the newer Affiliate. Applications are assessed by the IKT's Membership & Professional Standards Committee. The IKT is a professional body which prides itself of recognising the contribution its members have made to the KT sector.

The most senior membership grade awarded by the IKT for outstanding professional achievement and contribution to the furtherance of the Knowledge Transfer profession.

Fellowship is £100 annually.

A membership grade for those professionals with more than four years experience in Knowledge Transfer.

Full Membership is £75 annually.

Full Membership can be applied for using an MS Word application form.

The associate membership grade is intended for those people with less than four years experience in the field and wish to obtain professional recognition. This grade is entitled to use the designatory letters of AMInstKT.

Associate Membership is £50 annually.

Associate Membership can be applied for using an MS Word application form

The affiliate membership grade is intended for those who have an active interest in Knowledge Transfer and wish simply to gain the benefits provided to the membership of the IKT.

Affiliate Membership is £50 annually.

Affiliate Membership should be applied for through an MS Word application form

Retired Members pay £50 annually whatever the grade.

Fees paid by individual members qualify for income tax relief.

Membership can start any time, but is renewed on the 1st November each year.
